Jayakumarin Thiraikkathai’s shooting has completed its initial schedule at Ramoji Film City. The shoot shall continue at Pondicherry and Chennai.

Jayakumarin Thiraikkathai has commenced its onward journey with a modest pooja function at the Kilpauk office of The Imprints. The function was attended by the entire cast and crew of the movie. Jayakumarin Thiraikkathai’s shooting shall start on September 2nd, 2009 at the Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.

‘Jayakumarin Thiraikkathai’ announced as the first Tamil movie production from ‘The Imprints’ on July 2, 2009.

‘Jayakumarin Thiraikkathai’ is written and directed by Sarath Haridasan and produced by Aravind Venugopal and Govind Padmasoorya of ‘The Imprints’ – a Chennai based production house.

‘Jayakumarin Thiraikkathai’ has actor Nandaa in the lead.

Sarath has directed a commercial for Rakaan – a leading men’s perfume from Swiss Arabian Perfumes, UAE. The location was a desert plane in Ras Al Khaimah, and the shoot involved several horses and a falcon trained by Peter Berg- a specialist in falconry from South Africa.

The commercial produced by the Dubai-based DubaiTakeOne Productions will be aired across networks in the middle east, and shown in cinemas in almost the entire GCC.

Sarath Haridasan has just completed directing a TV commercial for the Malayala Manorama daily.  

Retaining its status as the largest circulating language daily in the country, Malayala Manorama has crossed 16,00,000 copies in circulation according to the Audit Bureau of Circulation’s Jan-June 2008 report. The TV Commercial ‘16 Lakhs Sweet‘ celebrates this achievement.

It is a collection of five short films, and shall be aired on all the mainstream Malayalam satellite channels. The production company is the Dubai based DubaiTakeOne Productions and the agency is TBWA, Cochin.

Sarath Haridasan has co-written the screenplay for veteran television director Naga’s debut Tamil movie – Anandhapurathu Veedu – produced by ace director Shankar’s S.Pictures. The movie has Nanda and Chhaya Singh in the lead. Sarath has written the screenplay along with Indra Soundar Rajan. The movie is slated for April 2009 release.
